“Glen Lafarlette, longtime race administrator, race course certifier, and runner died Sunday at his home in Tulsa. Over the past several years Lafarlette had been battling cancer with the same energy he put into creating, directing and administering hundreds of races across the state. Lafarlette and his wife Coneil operated Glen’s Road Race Service, timing hundreds of races over the years. Glen and Coneil also worked together to measure and certify more courses than any other group in the United States. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 8, 2006 at Freeman Harris Funeral Home in Tulsa.“  Source: Oklahoma Runner www.okrunner.com
