Training Run to Turkey Mountain

They said there was only one hill. I’m so guilable at times that I believed it. The Runner’s World Saturday training groups ran from Veteran’s Park to Turkey Mountain for our 6 mile long run (We’re still building distance).

The 5:45 am run was beautiful, scenic, and interesting as we passed old railroad tracks, abandoned trains, bridges, transformers, a power plant, and the hill(S). That’s right! I said hill with an S. I counted three, and they kicked our rear ends.

Our August 16th training run, beat us up. Look at the expressions on those faces–the result of the hills.
