This morning, August 30, 2008, we increased our mileage to seven miles and the course was a lot flatter than the hills of Turkey Mountain that we ran last week. The first loop took us across Route 66 and included a portion of the Route 66 Marathon. The second loop ran down the west bank of the Arkansas River, across the pedestrian bridge, and around Midland Valley Trail.
Although the route wasn’t as interesting as the previous two weeks, we still had fun. Here are some photos:
